R club

With so much to do at Rhodes Ranch you may not have time to think about what’s on TV. More than likely, with all the new friends and neighbors you will meet at our community center and “Fun Zone”, you will find life at Rhodes Ranch will be bigger than just the walls of your home.

At the R-Club
The R Club is a 35,000 sq ft recreation center that offers full size gymnasium, cardio/weight room, aerobics room, arts and crafts room, billiards room, and multi purpose rooms, a social area that features a baby grand piano, accordion, a large fireplace along with couches, tables and chairs.

Residents are able to socialize, study, work and meet in a comfortable, central location equipped with free Wi-Fi. The center also allows for residents to get together in the billiards room with six tables and options for ping pong and foosball.

Fitness is an important part of our residents' lives, so the R Club includes an indoor workout facility with weights and cardiovascular equipment, a full length basketball court and two racquetball courts.

Residents can participate in a variety of group classes including Stretch and Flexibility Training, Boot Camp, Total Body Conditioning, Zumba, Tai Chi, Yoga for Kids, Kids Fitness training, and many many more.

Personal treiners are also available by appointment to help residents of Rhodes Ranch create health and fitness programs to fit their everyday lifestyles.

Residents enjoy tricks, treats at Rhodes Ranch

Hayrides, a scary Full Moon Café, and plenty of tricks and treats lured the residents of Rhodes Ranch to the annual Halloween event which took place at The R-Club Recreation Center within the master-planned community.

"This is the second year we put on this event and the turnout was phenomenal," said Virginia Kaplan, program director for The R-Club.

"I think many of the residents who attended last year encouraged others to come this year. It is such an amazing event and a safe way for families to participate in this holiday."

Residents were able to enjoy hayrides, face painting and pumpkin decorating. There was also a palm reader and a balloon-twisting witch as well as a performance by the Las Vegas City Artz Academy.

"We had several contests during the evening as well. There was one for the best decorated pumpkin, the best and scariest costumes and guessing the weight of a large pumpkin that we bought. We tried to offer many options to appeal to everyone involved," Kaplan said.

"We really enjoy putting on these events for the residents and especially seeing the excited faces of the children as they participate in the various activities offered. I am already looking forward to next year's event and ways to make it even more exciting."
